Our Story
Laura — proud veteran, lifelong creative, and founder of HG Workshops — built her business from a deeply personal place: the longing to create when life didn’t go as planned. After her military service, Laura faced the heartbreak of not being able to have children — a loss that could have closed her off, but instead opened a new path. She turned to crafting as a way to heal, express, and pour her creative energy into something that could still grow and touch others. HG Workshops was born from that spirit — a space where creativity becomes a source of connection, healing, and joy. Laura’s military background gives her a steady foundation of resilience and purpose, but it’s her heart — her commitment to creating meaningful moments — that defines everything she does. At HG Workshops, every project, every class, every connection is rooted in one belief: creation is its own kind of miracle.
